For injuries, such as cuts and scrapes to the skin, it is a must-have for the medicine cabinet. Just a drop is known to be antiseptic and to speed the natural healing process.
We like to add to Mend to give it extra potency in relieving pain and inflammation of the tissues.
Helichrysum is also used for its effectiveness for scarring. A 1% dilution in rosehip seed oil is recommended with daily use.
