Jasmine is known as "The Queen of the Night" as it's famous for mysteriously releasing its intoxicating fragrance just before dawn. The love god Kama's arrows were tipped with Jasmine blossoms for their seductive and alluring aromatic qualities.
However, maintaining the authentic fragrant intelligence from this flower is a delicate process. Our Jasmine flower oil is lovingly coaxed by enfleurage technique - the flowers are added and removed daily for 90 days to the jojoba oil in a glass flask to create an exquisite and rich oil that is subtle, yet potent and encompassing.
This enfleurage is beautiful to use as a luxurious perfume or as a base to open up the fragrance for your bespoke (personal) essential oil blends.
Usage: Traditionally used as a perfume for its euphoric and aphrodisiac qualities that connect us with feeling and sensation; for the skin, it softens and smooths; and acts as a restorative for the female reproductive system. Jasmine can uplift a depressed state as it "creates connection - generating trust, warmth and devotion".
Synergistically blends well with sandalwood, frankincense, rose, mandarin, helichrysum and ylang ylang.
Jasmine is found in our Sacred Night and Glowing Heart blends.
